Oakville Skating Club Policies
Payments
1.
Full payment is required at time of
registration.
2.
Payment may be made by MasterCard,
VISA, Debit Card, Cheque, or Cash.
Overdue Accounts
Any member whose account is past due
will be notified in writing. If the
outstanding fees are not paid within thirty days you will be deemed a member
“not in good standing” and lose all privileges of membership including the
right to skate on sessions, try tests and compete.
Refunds
10-Week Learn to Skate Sessions
1.
Refund requests must be in writing or
by email to the office before the 3rd class.
2.
All refunds are pro-rated and subject
to a $30 administration fee.
3.
There are no refunds after the 3rd
class. If a skater chooses to withdraw
after the third class they may apply to the office for an OSC credit.
4.
Refunds for injury with a doctor’s note
will be issued at anytime throughout the program.
Session Changes
Session changes are permitted at
anytime provided there is room on the session you want to move to. The first session change per season is free,
subsequent session changes will be subject to a $15 administration fee.
Supervision
Each skater must have a responsible
person present in the arena when they skate.
Please do not assume our coaches or staff are supervising your children.
Make Up Sessions
We cannot provide make up time for
missed sessions.
Disclaimer
The Oakville Skating Club shall not in
any way be responsible for loss of property, damage, or injuries to
persons,
including participants while on the premises.
Membership will be closed for any session which becomes filled. The
Club reserves the right to change
categories or ice times at any times during the skating year, cancel
programs
where minimum registration levels are not met, an pre-empt ice times for
test
days and competitions. The Oakville
Skating Club and Town of Oakville are not required to make up lost time
or
compensate customers for closing arenas due to “Acts of God”.
