Adult Learn to Skate - 50 minutes Ages: Open
This learn to skate program is designed
for adults new to ice skating who have little or no skating experience. Using the CanSkate program outline, skaters
will learn basic skating skills including stopping, forward and backward
skating, balance, and spins.
A certified skating coach will teach in
a group format for this 50-minute session.
The adult learn to skate program is ideal for those either interested in
learning to skate for exercise or recreation, or who want to increase their
skating knowledge so they can pursue figure skating or hockey.
This program is open to adults aged 18
years or older.
No previous skating experience is required.
It is recommended that a CSA approved hockey helmet be worn during the
session and skaters must provide their own hockey or figure skates.

| CanPower - 50 minutes Ages: 5 - 12
CanPowerSkate is a high-energy program geared towards hockey players who are
looking for a fast-paced program that teaches balance, power, agility, speed,
and endurance. Sessions are taught by a qualified CanPowerSkate
coach. Skaters will learn in full
equipment using sticks, without pucks.
Skaters must be able to skate the length of the ice to qualify for this program.
Participants must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet and wear full hockey
equipment. Skaters must bring their own
equipment, hockey skates, and sticks.

| Preschool Canskate - 30 minutes Ages: 3 - 5
This entry-level program is ideal for beginner skaters aged three to five
who are ready to get on the ice without a parent. Children learn the basics of skating
including falling down and getting up, gliding, and skating forward by a
qualified CanSkate coach with the help of CanSkate Program Assistants. This 30-minute program uses toys, games, and
songs to get your child moving in a fun learning environment.
No previous skating experience is required.
Skaters must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet and provide their own hockey
or figure skates.

| CanSkate - 50 minutes Ages: 5 - 10 years
CanSkate is a learn to skate program
for beginners in learning the fundamentals of ice skating. This program is ideal for young children interested
in perusing any ice discipline including figure skating, hockey, or speed
skating. Skaters are move at their own
pace through a 7 Stage badges emphasising different skills and techniques at
each level. Lessons are in a group format with children
placed in groups according to skating ability and age.
No previous skating experience is required.
Skaters must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet up and provide their own hockey
or figure skates.

| Adult CanPower - 50 minutes Ages: Open
This 50-minute program is designed
for adult ages 18 years and older who have basic hockey skating skills and are
looking to improve their agility, speed and endurance. Skaters will learn in full hockey equipment with sticks but without pucks.
Skaters will learn forward and
backward skating, stopping, turning, and stick handling with the goal of
improving their game skills. This
program will be taught in a group format.
Skaters must be able to skate the length of the ice on their own to qualify
for this program.
Participants must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet and wear full
hockey/ringette equipment. Skaters must
bring their own equipment, hockey skates, and sticks.

| Family Learn to Skate - 50 minutes Ages: Open
This fun filled program is designed for families seeking to learn to skate
while being on the ice at the same time.
Adults and children will be separated into groups according to age and
skater's ability and taught the 7 Stage badges that make up the CanSkate
program by a qualified CanSkate.
Please note that parents will be taught at one end of the rink and children
at the other. This program is ideal for
older children who do not require assistance from their parents and can learn
in a group format.
No previous skating experience is required.
Skaters must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet and provide their own hockey or
figure skates.
The price quoted is per person.

| Teen Learn to Skate - 50 minutes Ages: Open
This 50-minute learn to skate program
is designed for pre-teens and teens ages 11 to 18 who poses little or no
skating ability and would prefer to learn in a youth environment.
Using the CanSkate program guidelines a
certified coach will teach in a group format based on skating ability. The teens learn to skate program is ideal for
those either interested in learning to skate for exercise or recreation, or who
want to increase their skating knowledge so they can pursue figure skating
or hockey.
No previous skating experience is required.
Skaters must wear a
CSA approved hockey helmet and provide their own hockey or figure skates.

| Parent & Tot - 30 minutes Ages: 3 - 4
This introductory program is ideal for young skaters who prefer a parent on
the ice with them while they learn to skate.
A certified CanSkate coach will be on hand to lead your child through a
30-minute program filled with fun and interactive activities, games, and song
as they learn basic skating skills.
No previous skating experience is required.
Skaters must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet and provide their own figure
or hockey skates. The accompanying
parent or adult must be 18 years or older and posses competent skating skills. The parent may choose whether or not to wear a helmet.

| Pre Power - 30 minutes Ages: 3 - 5
Pre Power is a high-energy program geared towards young skaters wishing to pursue hockey. Skaters will learn with hockey gloves and sticks, without pucks.
Skaters must be able to skate the length of the ice on their own to qualify
for this program.
Participants must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet. Skaters must bring their own hockey gloves, helmets, hockey skates, and sticks.

| Special Olympics - 50 minutes Ages: Open This learn to skate program is designed for qualified Special Olympics participants. Qualified Skate Canada coaches with Special Olympic training provide 1 on 1 support for these skaters.
