SHOW INFORMATION This year the Oakville Skating Club will be holding an Ice Gala on March 28th, 2010.  The Gala will have group numbers, feature numbers, costumes and more.  The performances will take place Sunday, March 28th at Glen Abbey Arena.  There will be an afternoon performance and an evening performance.  Skaters registering to participate will be required to skate in both performances. REGISTRATION Registration is open to all Oakville Skating Club members including Preschool, CanSkate and all STARSkate levels.  Registration forms are available from the Oakville Skating Club office, the website or your coach.  The cost for Preschool and CanSkate is $50 and STARSkate levels is $80.  Payment and forms are due in NO LATER THAN Friday, February 19th, 2010.  Registration fees will cover all ice time coaching, choreography and basic costume requirements (see below).  Skaters will be limited to one number unless otherwise invited.  PRACTICE / REHERSALS Skaters must be available for practice and rehearsals starting Saturday, March 20 – Saturday, March 27th, as well as both shows on Sunday. March 28th.  Practices will be held at both Glen Abbey and River Oaks arenas.  Rehearsal times will be finalized once registration closes and groups are assigned. Your practice times will be scheduled within these ice blocks. TICKETS Tickets will be sold in advance.  Skaters participating in the show and also wishing to watch part of the performance before or after they skate will be asked to buy a ticket so that we can manage audience numbers. These tickets will be discounted but limited. PICTURES Show programs will not include group pictures; however there will a photo day and an opportunity to purchase group and individual photos of your skater.  More information to come regarding photo times and location.
